Assembly line

Assembly and testing of actuators. Different product types can be manufactured. Type changes take place on the fly, without having to empty the line.

The optimal system layout was developed using process simulation. The actuators are assembled in three steps. In steps 1 and 3, customisations are performed manually. In step 2, gears are mounted by robots and monitored by vision technology. The 100% check in the final inspection is fully automated. All test data are continuously archived in an SQL database for further QM evaluations. Production in batch size 1 is now reality.
